Today we went to 'Petitou' which is a small kid's cafe near our house. They have all sorts of interesting food but I like the Baby Cino's best. They are yummy. I like the marshmellows that the lady puts on the plate. Nanny and I shared a Chicken Pot Pie for lunch. It was yummy too. I ate some of the pastry and the carrots and Nanny ate the chicken and celery. Tara who runs the cafe will be opening the new courtyard soon... That will be lots of fun because she only has baby toys for us to play with now and there isn't very much room. Other kids always want to play with the things that I am playing with. Such Babies. They have to learn about sharing...
Excuse me, Nanny!!
Could you knock next time please....
I am reading here.....
Really..... what was Nanny thinking???
Mummy will be back soon.... I can hardly wait......

Day 14
The day after my birthday Nanny and I came home to Melbourne from Byron Bay and Mummy went to Sydney. We flew in a plane with Jet Star written on it and Nanny wasn't very impressed. They asked Nanny for a paper to prove who I was. Nanny knows who I am and I have travelled with her many times. What a bother it was. Nanny was really not impressed at all after that. It had been a long day after driving from Byron Bay and I was really tired so Nanny and I went into the tiny toilet space so I could have a little cry. When we came out I felt much better and I had a little sleep. I think Nanny felt better too.
We went shopping in the afternoon and Nanny let me choose what I was going to wear. I think my styling was clever.. Don't you? Relaxed and fashion forward, comfortable and suitable for the changeable Melbourne weather.

Day 13
Nanny and I stayed at Vic and Jude's place for three days and then we drove to the airport and there was Daddy. I was so surprised. He had caught a plane all the way to Queensland too.
It was wonderful to see him.
Then Mummy got a car from a lady at the airport and we got in a drove to a place called Byron Bay.
It took us a long time to get there and we played the Animal Game while we were driving. I saw a cow and a dog.
We were all staying in a really nice house. I had my own bedroom. The next day was my BIRTHDAY. We went for a drive to the top of a really high hill and there was a beautiful light house. It was very tall and white. There were lots of people there. Some were looking at the water and some were having something to eat and drink at the tables. I had an ice cream. It was yummy.
I had a little sleep in the afternoon and when I woke up we started my Birthday Party. Some of Mummy's friends came and they brought me Birthday Presents. One was a xylophone which I played all the time. I was so fast that the picture is blurred.
Can you see how fast I was playing?
We had a BBQ and a cake with animals and 2 candles on it and everyone sang Happy Birthday to Me.... I was 2. What a wonderful day it was...... another wonderful day....

My Special Day
What a busy few days I have had. Nanny and I flew to Queensland and we stayed with Vic and Jude and their two dogs.
Then Mummy arrived from Tenterfield. I had not seen her for nearly 4 weeks. I had missed her a lot.
It was good to see Mummy again.
I went to the dog park and to the Native Animal Park but my special place was to the beach. This is my favourite photo of me and Mummy at Burleigh Heads beach. We had a good time at the beach. It was lots of fun.

Day 12
Vic and Jude have 2 dogs. Can you imagine that? 2 dogs. They are little. One is called Piglet and one is called Fossie. I was very excited to see them. Vic and Jude take them for a walk at the dog park nearly every day. Nanny and I went and this picture was taken at the park. Vic and I are talking about things.
There was a kids area in the park and I played there on the see saw and in the sand. I liked to make sand piles on the seat of the see saw. I am wearing my Melbourne Storm top. I am a member.
After we went to the dog park Mummy and Nanny and I went to a Nature Park. I saw lots of native animals like a koala and a kangaroo, a crocodile and a platypus. It was lots of fun at the nature park.
Then we went to the beach. Mummy took me for a paddle in the water and Nanny bought some fish and chips for lunch. We ate our lunch on the sand and lots of sea gulls came and watched us. They wanted to eat some of our lunch but Nanny threw some chips near them and they squawked and flew away. They were very noisy. I liked the sand.
What a busy day it was...
I wonder what we will be doing tomorrow

Day 11
Tomorrow is here and Nanny and I are off to catch the aeroplane to Queensland. We had to drive to the airport, then park the car and catch a little bus to where the planes are. Then we had to leave our big bag with a lady and show another man all our other bags.... and I had to get out of my stroller. Then Nanny and I went to wait for the plane. I liked to look out of the window and watch the big red plane outside.
We were flying for a long time and Nanny read me books and I did some drawing in my puzzle book. We had some snacks and then we went for a walk in the plane. There were lots of people on the plane... kids too. I had a little nap at the end of the trip and Nanny put me on the seats while all the other people got out. Flying is fun but can be tiring. Honey Bunny and Teddy thought so too.
Hurry up Mummy.
It was a very busy day. What will we be doing tomorrow???

Day 10
Nanny and I went to the Footscray Library today and I borrowed some more books and some more DVD's. I have lots of books from the library and some puzzles as well. Nanny and I got 2 from the High Point Library. This is a picture of Teddy and Daddy doing the Zoo Puzzle. I was telling them where to put the animal pieces. Teddy thought it was a bit hard and needed Daddy's help.
Nanny asked my best friend Ava and her mummy, Rara, over to my place for lunch. I don't see them very often because they live a long way away. I miss them a lot. We had a yummy lunch of pasta and salad. We played outside and in my bedroom. I had lots of fun. I hope Ava did too.
Nanny and I ARE going away. We are going to Queensland in an aeroplane. I love going on a plane. I am going to see my Mummy. Hooray. We will be leaving really early in the morning. I can't wait. Tomorrow is a long time away... Hurry up tomorrow.

Day 9
Nanny and I did some cooking today. First Nanny got out the pastry sheet and then we covered it with tomato paste.
Nanny chopped up some bacon and I helped her spread it on the pastry. Then we added some cheese and capsicum. We rolled the pastry into a little roll then I undid the roll to check that everything was in it. Nanny got really fussy and rolled it up again.
Then Nanny cut the roll into small scrolls and put them onto the baking tray. There were 12 of them..
Here are the little scrolls ready for the oven.
We cooked them till they were crispy and golden brown.
Yum....
I think we did well Nanny...
Day 8 Part 2
This little girl was really nice. She was my new friend. We counted hand fulls of sand onto a big hill. I counted to 18.
see what else there is and guess who we saw..... Hahaha... we saw Elmo and he was playing a trumpet.
Nanny and I caught the train back home and shared a vegetable pancake that we bought at Flinders Street Station.
What a busy day we had...
Day 8 Part 1
I wanted to stay there but Nanny said let's see what else there is.
We went around the corner and found this....... If you held the coloured rods and moved them, they made a sound. It was a very loud sound. Lots of people played with the rods... They were very big.
I wanted to stay there but Nanny said let's see what else there is.... I found a drain and put some of the Autumn leaves down through the holes. That was lots of fun. Nanny sat down and watched me for a while and then she said le'ts see what else there is...

Day 7
Wow... The days are just flying by. Nanny said it will be just 3 sleeps till we go to Queensland and see Mummy. I can't wait.
Daddy took me to the park today. We went on my green bike. I am wondering if this hat is silly or not. Nanny keeps getting scary hats for me for winter.
In the afternoon Nanny and I went to my friend Ollie's place and we made pumpkin scones together. Ollie liked to mix in the pumpkin mixture and I liked to make patterns on the table. They were delicious. I think Nanny ate 2 of them.
Thanks you Ella.. It was fun.
Nanny said that we can do some cooking tomorrow.
Yum Yum....I wonder what we will be making.....

Day 6 Part 2
We played in the park with my ball for a while and then we went to the big house where the plants are grown. There is a fountain outside and I floated my ball in the water. Luckily the wind brought it back to me.
Then we went inside the plant place and I had my lunch. It was really warm and comfy inside and the plants were pretty.
I played on the slippery dip and dug in the snow with a spade and ate the snow too... and then Nanny made this really silly little man that she kept on calling a snow man...
It was lots of fun on the snow... It was cold and slippery and hard and wet... I liked it...
and then it was time to go home... I didn't like that..
On the way home Nanny and some other cars were stopped by the Police men. They had to count up to 10 and then drive off again... That was so easy...I could do that. The Policeman's name was Trev. What a busy day...
Day 6 Part 1
The weather has been terrible here in Melbourne... cold and drizzly.. Nanny thought it might be a good idea to get out my old pool and some of my plastic balls so I could play with them... MMmm It was a bit crowded... We were not impressed..
So then Nanny and I did some more work in my Cut and Pasting Book... I have lots of pictures... I love to do the pasting... I like to pull the pictures out and paste them in again... Nanny does the cutting....
This was all happening in the morning... The afternoon got very busy and very exciting....
Daddy had to go into town and Nanny asked if she could drive him in and Daddy said yes... So we all got into the car and off we went. Hahaha Nanny was chatting so much she forgot to take the right turn and we ended up going past Flemington!! and that took us to North Melbourne... But Daddy got to the right place and he got out and then Nanny and I went to the Fitzroy Gardens. ..... to be continued....

Day 5
Now I have to explain something here before I start.
There has been some
discussion about Nanny's choices in what I wear so ...... the day that Nanny and I went to the kids farm at Collingwood started off really warm and sunny but later in the day it got really cold and wet. Nanny dressed me in navy tights and long sleeved T with a navy and white smock... but as the day got colder she decided to put me in something warmer.... That explains my odd clothing.. I may not have been fashion forward but I was warm.

The goats are my favourite. They are very soft. This goat let me pat him.
I saw some cows and a big black pig... some horses and some sheep.... the sheep wouldn't let me pat him... He kept running away... but it didn't matter because it started to rain and we had to go home...
It was a fun day... I hope I can come back another time....

The Collingwood Kids Farm is on the other side of Melbourne so it took us a while to get there. Well done Nanny... as you are not familiar with Melbourne.... but now you know where Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Coburg and Fitzroy are... Every day is an adventure with Nanny..
First we fed the hens and the ducks... Nanny brought some bread with us and that was fun...
They chased me around trying to get the bread. I had to run away when they chased me....
Next we walked to where the goats and sheep live

Day 4
Oooo oo oo after we went to Kids Mania yesterday Nanny and I went shopping at the local shopping centre. Nanny bought me 2 things that are lots of fun....... a scrap book and a pair of kids scissors. We spend time pasting things each day. Nanny does the cutting and I do the pasting.
Here are 2 of my favoutrite pages... The first one is of lots of numbers from a shopping booklet and the second one is of a face. Nanny helped me with that and suggested where I put the bits. I like it.... Can you see the ears and the hat?
The face is happy.....
The other thing that Nanny bought was this......
It's called a potty and I like to sit on it..... It is blue and really comfy...
Well.....I'm off to bed now so nighty night... What will I be doing tomorrow???

Day 3
Something really funny happened this morning. Daddy told Nanny that he had opened up the Playstation to see why it wasn't working and he found the letter 'I' that I had put there weeks ago. It had been missing from my alphabet game for a long time and Nanny had looked everywhere for it....under the lounge and behind the cushions, in my toy box and under the change table but couldn't find it any where..... AND there it was all the time.. Clever Daddy.
Nanny and I went to Kids Mania today. It's a great kids activity centre that I call the plane centre because there is a huge plane on a pole in the car park. I shout 'Hurray' when we get there. This is me on the horsie ride. I know how to make the music start. You have to climb up on the carriage and press the big button that says 'STOP'.
I don't go in the babies part any more. I like to climb up the foam wall and go down the big kids slides. There are two high tunnel slides and a really steep purple slippery slide. They are great fun. I don't think Nanny likes it very much though. She is always standing at the bottom of the slide and looks very relieved when I woosh out the end... They are so fast. Nanny tried to video me coming down the purple slide but I was too fast. Haha...Better luck next time Nanny.
We have lots of reading times during the day and this is this book that I like this week... I like the 3 singing pigs that go La La La.... They are so funny..... Pigs don't go La LA La they go OINK...
Well that's it for today........ What will we be doing tomorrow... I wonder???

Day 2
Nanny and I have been really busy since she arrived here a few days ago. One day we did some cooking. Here we are making some vegetable pancakes. I was helping Nanny. I think they needed more seasoning... but they were OK... The mixture certainly made a lot..
Nanny is great at building things and here we have built a garage area for all my cars (and me). Nanny's friend Robin gave me the building blocks when I was in Gosford and they make a really great wall. You can use them to make trucks and building as well.
I have such a lot of books and Nanny used a set of shelves from my bedroom to make a book case for them in the lounge room. It makes a really good reading corner when I use my baby bean bag.
I'm not sure what we wil be doing tomorrow... BUT I'm sure it will be fun...
